Booking Terms, Payments, and Cancellation Policy

Booking Terms

  • All tour bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of the £350 non-refundable deposit.

  • By booking a tour with Africa Homeland Tours, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.

  • Guests are responsible for ensuring that their passports, visas, vaccinations, and other travel requirements are valid and up to date for the destination country.

  • It is the guest’s responsibility to review the tour itinerary and ensure that the tour is suitable for their fitness level and travel interests.

  • Africa Homeland Tours reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, political events, or local conditions.

Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit of £350 GBP is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.

  • The balance of the tour fee is due no later than 60 days prior to the tour start date.

  • If the balance is not received by the due date, your booking may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

  • Payments can be made via our secure online portal or through the payment link provided upon registration.

Included in Tour Fees

The tour fee includes:

  • Hotel accommodation for the entire tour duration

  • Daily breakfast

  • Airport pick-up and drop-off

  • Welcome dinner

  • Entry fees for all scheduled visits and excursions

  • Private minibus hire

  • Professional driver and tour guide services

Not Included

The following are not covered in the tour fee:

  • International airfare to and from Africa

  • Lunches and dinners (except for the welcome dinner)

  • Personal expenses, tips, and optional excursions

  • Travel insurance (mandatory but guest-arranged)

  • Airline-related delays, cancellations, or baggage issues

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 60 days before tour start date: Deposit (£350) is non-refundable; any other payments will be refunded.

  • 30–59 days before tour start date: 50% of the total tour cost will be refunded.

  • Less than 30 days before tour start date: No refund will be issued.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

Refunds

  • Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 14 business days of receiving the cancellation request.

  • No refunds will be given for unused services or missed portions of the tour.

  • In the rare event that Africa Homeland Tours cancels the tour, you will receive a full refund of all payments made toward the tour. We are not liable for non-refundable airline tickets or personal travel arrangements.

Travel Insurance

All guests are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption

  • Medical emergencies and evacuation

  • Delayed or lost baggage

  • Missed flight connections and airline delays

Africa Homeland Tours is not responsible for any losses or additional expenses incurred due to travel disruptions or emergencies.
