About Us

Africa Homeland was born from a deeply personal calling — a response to the Ghana's historic Year of Return in 2019 that reignited a global movement of reconnection for the African Diaspora. What began as inspiration soon became action. Since 2023, our founder and co-director Rachel Okello has led six transformative tours to Ghana, creating powerful spaces for reconnection, reflection, and rediscovery.

Our flagship experience, the Ancestral Homeland & Investment Tour, is more than a holiday. It is a carefully curated journey designed for members of the African Diaspora who feel the pull to return — whether to reconnect with heritage, explore investment opportunities, or consider long-term repatriation. We combine cultural immersion with practical insight, creating a bridge between identity and opportunity.

Rachel Okello is a UK-based entrepreneur and seasoned solicitor with over 23 years of legal experience. She is the founder of Clarity Visas, a respected UK immigration law practice. Her professional background brings structure, integrity, and strategic insight to every tour — particularly for those exploring dual residency, business, property investment, or relocation pathways.

Under Rachel’s vision, Africa Homeland was created to facilitate meaningful repatriation journeys and curated tours for the African Diaspora into Africa. Our experiences are rooted in authenticity, community, and empowerment. From standing at the historic dungeons of Cape Coast to engaging with local business leaders and traditional authorities, every moment is designed to inspire clarity, connection, and confidence.

We do not simply organise trips — we create experiences.

Nana Amanyi IV is a Director of the company. He is the Alatahen (Chief) of Moree Alata in the Asebu Traditional Area and as such is a respected traditional leader and bringing cultural authority, integrity, and deep community roots to our tours in Ghana. He plays a vital role in preserving heritage, fostering development, and strengthening connections between the motherland and the African Diaspora.

His leadership is grounded in tradition, service, and community advancement. As a chief, Nana Amanyi serves not only as a custodian of culture and land, but also as a bridge between generations — ensuring that development is aligned with tradition and that progress respects heritage. His insight into customary land processes, traditional governance, and local partnerships provides invaluable guidance for members of the Diaspora seeking meaningful reconnection and responsible investment.

Nana Amanyi IV ensures that guests are welcomed with authenticity and dignity. His involvement offers participants rare first-hand access to local community engagement.
